Digital Voice Modes¶
WPSD Palisade supports these modes, each on its own page under Radio:
DMR, with its networks and talkgroup prefixes explained in DMR Networks and Talkgroup Prefixes
POCSAG and DAPNET paging
Cross-Mode bridges between them
APRS and GPS position beacons
Turn a mode on with the switch next to its page’s title, then Apply. Its settings appear once it’s on. A mode that’s on can be paused for a while, without changing its settings, from Manage Instant Mode.
Your WPSD device handles one mode at a time: while it’s busy with a call in one mode, the others wait. Each mode’s Staying in settings say how long it keeps listening after a call before another mode can take over.
